Georgetown Historic Tour in Washington DC
on Sunday, 28/10/2012 —

Georgetown is the oldest and most historic neighborhood in Washington DC. PAPS members met here to enjoy a very nice autumn day, while learning so much about this pictoresc and gorgeous place, situated along the Potomac River and close to Rock Creek National Park.

We were at the address of John F. Kennedy and his wife, from the time when he was a Congressman and Senator; we got to hear about the most richest families and how they made fortune in DC; we learned about the Cheasepeak and Ohio Canal; and we finish our tour in the most upscale and notorious shopping areas of the city.

It was a great time to talk about PAPS initiatives, the "Welcome package" that all Chapters are preparing for propective new members, and other ways to participate and energize the organization. Keep posted for our future encounter in November :)
